The Georgia Golf Experience begins with this comprehensive look at the Peach State's great variety and quality of golf, the fantastic year-round weather, the abundance of superb golf courses, and the easy access via the interstate highway system, as well as Atlanta's Hartsfield International Airport, have made Georgia a natural golfing destination.

Whatever your golfing preference, the five distinctly different regions in Georgia will deliver the golf vacation experience of a lifetime. From topography to price, the golf courses within each region are as varied as the landscape.

Georgia Golf... it's all about the game of golf, from professional tournament play to amateur golf group camaraderie. You'll find everything you need here at Atlanta Tee Times!

Dramatic elevational changes define the courses in the North Georgia Mountains region. World-class resorts and exciting layouts are featured in the Atlanta Metro region. Challenging, traditional courses with towering pines and winding waterways are offered in the Southern Rivers region of west Georgia. Scottish links-style and lakeside courses abound in the Historic South region of east and central Georgia. Gorgeous seaside layouts and winding marsh tracts provide the challenge on the Coast of Georgia. Also dotting the golf landscape are Georgia's seven state park golf courses.

Smoke Rise Golf & Country Club is proud of its 18-hole championship golf course designed by award-winning architect Gary Roger Baird of Nashville, Tenn. The par-72 course ambles over a setting of rolling terrain and offers many dramatic elevation changes and scenic views of Stone Mountain.

It’s a picturesque location with thick stands of hardwood and pine and creeks that create beautiful settings for greens and fairways. You’ll see very few houses in the area and you’ll be experiencing lots of birds and wildlife as you play.
