Q&A: Weekley at Talladega
TALLADEGA, Ala. -- Boo Weekley, an integral part of the United States' Ryder Cup victory at Valhalla Golf Club last month, was on hand Sunday to wave the green flag before the Amp Energy 500 at Talladega Superspeedway. Weekley, a native of Milton, Fla., is a long-time fan of NASCAR racing and brought wife Karyn and son Parker to the track in hopes of meeting Dale Earnhardt Jr. Not only did he accomplish that feat, Junior was so excited that he asked if someone could take a picture of the two together. Weekley took a few moments to talk about his passion for racing, for golf and how the two are similar and separate:

VERONA, N.Y. (AP) -- When things went sour after his rookie year on the PGA TOUR started so well, Dustin Johnson did what every struggling golfer does.
Rock Solid Performance: Johnson at Turning Stone
Rookie Dustin Johnson earned his first victory in his 28th start as a professional on the PGA TOUR. The win carries with it an automatic two-year exemption and the first-place prize money of $1.08 million catapulted him 87 positions on the 2008 money list, from 128th to 41st. With five official-money events remaining in the season, this puts Johnson approximately $350,000 away from the current 30th position on the money list ($2.06 million). If Johnson can perform well in the final events of the Fall Series and finish in the top 30, he will gain an automatic exemption to the 2009 Masters and U.S. Open.
